Erin Mahoney is a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping clients rebuild trust with their bodies through compassionate, weight-inclusive movement. Her approach centers on creating a safe, supportive environment where movement becomes a tool for connection, strength, and confidence—rather than punishment or control.
Erin’s work is deeply informed by her extensive experience in eating disorder treatment across residential, inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Through this work, she developed a strong understanding of how trauma, body image concerns, and rigid fitness expectations can impact a person’s relationship with movement. She supports clients in gently reconnecting with their bodies, listening to internal cues, and finding ways to move that feel both empowering and sustainable.
With a background spanning clinical nutrition, sports nutrition, and personal training, Erin blends evidence-based practice with a client-centered, HAES-aligned philosophy. She believes movement should support both physical and mental health—and that progress looks different for everyone. Erin meets clients where they are, helping them build strength, resilience, and confidence without pressure or judgment.
In addition to her work as a personal trainer, Erin has a strong passion for education. She has led nutrition and movement workshops, created educational content, and worked collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to support long-term well-being.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys staying active in ways that feel joyful and grounding. She values movement that fits into real life and believes that flexibility, curiosity, and self-compassion are just as important as strength.
